faces in the dark,
reminding me of my pass,
taking me back to when everything began,
faces in the dark,
as i look for a spark to ignite a flame,
to burn away the darkness in me,
oh how jaded i am,
faces in the dark,
mock and taunt me,
reminding me of my past mistakes,
in which i've tried to but can't erase,
faces in the dark,
begin to pull apart,
this fake world that i have built,
bringing me shame and guilt,
faces in the dark,
wearing masks,
reminding me of my past,
faces in the dark,
which appear to be me,
as i stare into the mirror and see,
that these faces in the dark are me,
merely a reflection of the same face i see......
