A moment a lifetime

In a moment that is now and every second forward

The air stills yet buzzes with life

The wind hums, trees sway, and water trickles down a line 

In this, silence is brought alive 

A blanket of air settles and secures you in this precious moment

Fragile to any change or movement

An entire lifetime fleeting and escaping your grasp

The chase ends with just a breath 

A single moment a single lifetime never to be lived again

But the clock ticks and new dawns rise and you can breathe in and out again
