My mother said my childhood would be hard
she said the giants will be of danger
she said I must grow strong
She said strong like rock
and so I listened
My friends the wind said they would help
they'll carry the water to me
they'll move the clouds for me
they'll keep the air cool for me
And so they did
the ground beneath told me they'll support me
they told me they'd hold me when I fall
they told me I'll be unreachable
they told me they won't ever let me down
and so they tried
The giant told me they will help me grow
they would feed me
they would give me a nice home
they said they could be trusted
but they did not
and so my mother wept
and so the ground regret
and the wind upset
but the giant never cared
as I layed a sapling dead
