It's been so long

A long time gone

Sometimes feels like forever

And I wonder if i'll ever

Ever see you smile at me again

Your my best friend

Thats saying alot

Everything bad I forgot

I try to put it all behind me

I don't want to be your enemy

Maybe I should let it be

I guess i'll wait and see

Looks can be deceiving

But I hope that your believing

That I feel the same as you

That we're starting something new

I hope it makes you smile

Be happy for awhile

You fill an empty hole

That has been tearing at my soul

Headgames we used to play

Maybe i'll understand why someday

Where we went wrong

A long time gone

So many times that i'd forgotten

Just how quickly things turned rotten

Learn to get along
