Angelface Followed the same path for so long,
always thought the same way,
don't trust anyone,
I walked alone.
It was always me,
I solve my own problems,
no one was there to help,
I fixed myself.
So many secrets I kept,
never let out any of my thoughts,
always bleeding,
no one there to heal my bruises.
A fork in my path,
unsure if I should take it,
you standing on one side,
smiling, you hold out your hand.
I took a chance and held out mine without hesitation,
I followed you,
still you haven't let me down,
still you never left my side.
Doubt tries to bring me down,
sits in shadows behind me,
just waiting for me to look back,
your grip is too strong,
won't let me run from you.
I walk forward with you,
letting go of all that has broken me,
you fix me with your words, your arms, your heart
I see in your eyes, you'll never let go.
