I can't get over the way
we crashed into the night sky
with love and feelings strung
like stars in a celestial dance
the way it caught us like sheets
of velvet and we sunk into its
protective warmth so forgiving
something in the way you felt
I could feel it spilling out
through your pores and everything
inside us became one and I knew
there were planets aligning
and comets shooting through
our heads bowing to their grace
in everything you do now I feel
disconnected to the night we
rushed into the black depths of love
so untainted yet so untamed
we calmly remember but do not truely
speak of the pain my comforting skies
brought me one silent night
