i saw this morning

i looked in your eye

and i wondered why

how did i come into this

and why are you still here

with me



i know i am not the best man

i know i am not the smartest man

and i am sure there are other guys

that would treat you better

and give you more



but through it all

through every thing i put you through

you have stayed with me

you saved me

Or maybe we saved each other



i hate when you mad

i hate when your sad

and there's nothing i can do

but lend my hand

and tell you that i am there for you



i may not be able to provide you diamond rings

but ill listen to anything you say

i may not be able to talk for hours

but i could get lost in your eyes for days



i know i am far from the best lover

but every day i am with you

i one step closer
