lost highway
there are times in our life
when things get out of hand
you have to look for those things
that bring you joy
now i may not be the greatist
and i have never claimed to be the best
but one thing
that i have promised is to be there
maybe things dont always turn out as planned
and maybe sometimes im at fault
but baby im just a simple man that never had a plan
and i swear im doing the best that i can
i never needed a map to find my way
never planned a route in life
but i enjoy where its taken me
and im looking forward wor the rest
of the trip.
