Today is just another regular day like anyday,

but today we celebrate another year to your life.

All of your yesterdays have already come and gone,

today has just begun and tomorrow is never predicted.



On this day I wanted to create you a special gift,

I've come to realize it is harder to do then imagined.

Mainly because to me you are more then just words,

to me you are by far my greatest and only Hero.



I've heard people say they wish to be like musicians,

some say they would like to be like poets and movie stars.

All I've ever wanted was to become more like you Dad,

out of everyone I've ever met there is no one I'd rather be.



You have always had your own way to live your life,

and never cared how someone else decided to live theirs.

I think from you I have learned what's right and wrong,

and I enjoy our conversations we have that last all night long.



I would like to propose a toast just to say heres to you Dad,

and I hope down the road there are times to propose many more.

You introduced me to Hunting and Fishing and a lot of good music,

so this one is to you Dad, I'll buy this round, Happy Birth Day.
