Saw the Dipper in the sky
heard the leaves
blowing down the street
October wind
Carried them...away
From the grey porch
Watched the children play
Heard the church bells chime
Their ring mingled with the children's
Laughter,
The birds, danced with the breeze
From the grey porch
Watched you watch me
pack to a grey November day
And as I drove away
I looked back at you
occurred to me, neither of us...said good-bye
