As we danced through the corridor of time
Innocence blended with cold, breaths met
Stolen from each other, as if t'wer to be our last
Wanting to wait forever, to exhale
Moment to moment...frozen
Little town pond, frozen beneath our feet
As the church bells rang from the steeple
Wanting to savor this moment in time
This look into eyes
This taste, feel, emotion
Moment to moment...frozen
I remember the snowflakes
Like I, they were falling
Never to return
Caught in the palm of my hand
Like us, somehow disappeared
Leaving for a time...wet
Changing to only a memory
Tonight I watch as the blizzard echoes
Look upon my palm at the ever changing
No two flakes the same
Yet one memory will always remain
The moment frozen in the depths of my mind
To be re-lived with each new soft falling flake
Moment to moment, frozen...in time
