Are you this blue too?

Been bitten by another

with a love you never knew

could be this true

and whatever the reason

your tired of believing

didn't know it so

that you, could be this blue?





Loved her more than life itself

can't shake the memory

would be easier to rope the wind

than to begin

my friend

to forget

her is true

Didn't know I could be this blue





Everywhere is where she's at

if she's not in this thought

she's certainly in that

and time leaves me in powerless perils

for I cannot do anything

except pray for the day

that I... won't be this blue





She's still there without care

only a plane ride away

and even today

I'd swim the ocean

to forget the past

for love

is just beyond my grasp

Yet I,

cannot tell her

nor ask her

for my words are few,

wonder if she like me never knew

she could ever be this blue?
