You burn so fast
old before your time
seems things good never last
when you count them in your mind
Rainbows and blonde haired ladies
often dissappear after the storm
enbed the trace of fairwheather sadies
you struggle to get back to the norm
Reflections of passion, renewed by summer fashions
as the trip replays over and over in your mind
another day pass' you've fooled the mass'
into thinking no harm, your going to be just fine
So walk quietly into another day
never show your scars from the night
retain a shadow of the truth for yourself along the way
your smile must hide your sorrow until tomorrow
for your being wrong don't make them right
Past is past and tommorow is today yesterday
someday you'll learn the answers
or perhaps... the questions
