Do you think your heart is the only one that hurts somehow?
No.. I know that there are others that hurt as much as me.
But trying to survive doesn’t find any comfort in knowing that others are hurting too, it just adds to my pain….
Oh sad man, are you ashamed that you’ve asked The Lord to take you?
Or perhaps send you?
You’re not so sure, could go either way.
Yes, very ashamed. Yet consumed.
Not much future, living in a constant past…
Oh sad man, did you forget that God has not only forgiven your sins, but forgotten them too?
No, I have not forgotten. That’s in itself, part of the problem.
Oh sad man, you’ve wasted so much time. The years have got behind you. Perhaps you’ve been naive to think that love will get you through?
