Last night as we observed one another,

I remembered how sound can’t move in a

vacuum—

Last night, as I kissed you, I thought how

The shortest way between

Two                          points

Is its’ linear path—

Last night, as we made love, I considered

E=mc2.

Last night, the Universe didn’t make sense.

Moans moved through dead space—

Circles were preferred to lines—

Though we moved in and out each other

Massless as light,

Time, only found itself accelerating.
