I will not be silenced 

Even when words won’t come out my mouth 

The earth will rumble with those words unspoken 

Even when you try cover me with a blanket of silence 

My eyes will widen with questions needing answers

When you attempt to discipline the way I feel

My emotions will seep into the ground and grow on trees 

No I will not be silenced 

I will speak what my brain wants to seek 

What my heart yearns to hear 

The echos of my souls to drum to the world 

No I will not be silenced

I will let the tears roll down each with their story 

I will laugh in volumes of happiness that you cannot quiet
