Love: All, Bitter and Sweet

If I don’t look so much for you

Would you come find me?

Would you call my name across the oceans

Or climb up the highest tree?

Would you promise that you won’t hurt me

I just learned how to heal

I won’t ask you to fix my broken heart

I just want you to make me believe

Love can mend a broken soul

Even when your heart is not whole

Love should brighten up your world

Without your life being controlled

Love won’t make you shed the tear

Love is warm and sincere

Because that is all I’ve ever known

Passing blame, fighting, screaming, anger to the bone

Won’t you come find me and be my home

I have heard so many stories

About romance since I was three

A loving couple with no trouble is what I yearn to feel

Won’t you come along already

Prove that love is not a fantasy

I don’t want a better half

I want it all, bitter and sweet
