The First Words After a Heartbreak

I write everyday about many things

Life, love, relationships

I wrote the good and the bad

The happy and the sad

I fell in love with a boy

So many stories I wrote

How much I loved him in my world

I inscribed tales

Of unending love

So many details

That the pen sighed

And the notebook wondered

Is there really such a love as transcribed

The words that were wrote and the tears that were shed

Could burn forest downs and turn the world red

But when our love prevails

The whole earth blooms

Into flowers that emit beautiful perfumes

The skies flatters the beauty of the earth

And the divinity of the cosmos is rebirthed

I went absent for a while

The notebook wondered why

Why the passion of a juvenile is on hiatus

Maybe the writer is busy with her love so precious

When I wrote my first words after a spell of time

The ink wept

And the pages ripped

The stars fell

And the wolves yowled

The trees tore down

And the leaves turned brown

The rivers bled

As my tears shed

“I lost a love that knows no end

A love the strongest winds couldn’t bend

I cried today

I’ll cry tomorrow

For without you

All I am is sorrow”
