in my world of rain
it's so hard to find the sun
as i go through my life
to realize ive just begun..

all the times i tried
but never loved anyone
i'm honestly concerned about
why i'm not alright

'cause the darkness that i've seen
is something i haven't lost
but i know when the pain grows
i will rise above hard times

but for now i go
ride on through the gloomy storm
but in the light of your eyes
i will shine.
in the light of your eyes tonight
i will shine...

In my heart alone
only few i've the courage to show
the secrecy of my reality
you deserve to know

cause on my own, it is quiet
it is silent, but it is wise
those who have to undermind

tried to dull our sunlight

the tired groves
of lifeless, weary souls
you must know it is not ok
to live with the pain

So for you i will go
ride on through this gloomy storm
