The Creeping Notorious Whispers
You became My puppeteer
You gave me something to fear
An earful of Deception
I became the child of narcissistic rage
You came to me at a misunderstood age
I fall inside your conceited grin
How it makes me melt
In hatred and lust within
I try to hide
But you turn to my side
And tore away my precious pride
I try and crawl to my saviour
Instead, I lay lost in your eyes
A sea of hope I deem it
I try and look away
But then I remember yesterday
When it was easy being me
That went far astray
And this how I came to be
A shadow in your corner
Growing each day, a little shorter
A despiteful fate
Is my heavy burdened weight
My red lips
Might not be enough
To satisfy your thirst
And as a question this
I reached out for your love
You lead me on
so how shall i know
If this game you make me play
Will bring us together
Or leave me in tears forever
But I found out
The hardest way
What a fool you made me be
Now I'm left alone regretting "us" to this very day
