Or do I affect a change?
affirm this life others yearn to steal
deny the death my body aches to feel
The hills are alive with the sound
of my screams
Do I give in to this rush?
downward momentum leading to hell
Or do I open my eyes?
to one more day
to ideals of possibility
The uphill climb to sanity
