I could hear her breathing
Slow and deep like sleep
We both stood so still
She somehow cracked a smile
In her time of need
I smiled back slightly
Don't want to hurt her feelings
The wind stood still
Emotions flying around us
Like flies on a corpse
Was there love or hate
Floating in the air
