Understand The Pain
To be loved the way you should be. Take my hand i'll show you what you could see. See that maybe im the person who you should be loved by. Be the person who will never make you cry. Cry only if you did though, because its tears happiness. Happy to know what all has happened from this. How im actually someone who understands you completly. Understand the pain and the sadness all, because I have the same in me. I cannot though make you do anything you do not want to. Even if I could make you thats something I wouldn't do. I believe if you love someone or don't then let it be that way. I'll always be your friend though and im here to stay. To comfort you the best way I can comfort you. Even if it means never being more than a friend I hope you believe this is true. I tell not a lie, because I would dread to be lied by you as well. All by the tears in your eyes this is how I can tell. How they drip so sadly down your face. I'll wipe them away with my words in hopes they leave from that place. All I know though is you've struck me deep inside. Knowing my heart once again cannot for too long hide. It needs not to be sheltered too long for it cannot easily breathe. Breathe to beat its love for someone to believe. Trust me please though just, because I know im telling you the truth. That we together are like a house and you are the floor and I am the roof. How you are stable being the one who is always being walked on, but with me hanging over you I protect you from most harm. If you feel like letting go of me though I understand why you would, but if you ever do I hope you think to yourself if thats something you should. There can only be one good reason to fear what lies in the end, but as long as you are in my life im just happy to know you are my friend.
