Nightly I dream 
With tears in my eyes
Memories of joy
While my heart cries

Too many a year
Since our lips met
Your soft sweet love
I just can't forget

Many promises we made
That we could not keep
Torn apart by others
Made our hearts weep

Fifty years of gazing
At distant stars above
Precious nightly dreams
Of my enduring love
