I found a dream

Lost out in the woods
I found the snow and the sun
Barren branches reach for me
But I’m already embraced
By someone
The birds fly away
And take their songs along
The beasts of the wild sleep
And I too am lulled
By someone
Back in the night
I stare at the candle in my window
I see the snow fall to grace the earth
When someone envelopes me
Her name is lost
To Silence
