Remember the days when we were kids,
We played with wooden spoons and plastic lids.
We didn't curse, not one single bit,
We laughed and cried and threw a tantrum fit.
Now we curse and talk back, and we don't even care,
We lie to our friends by saying "We'll always be there"
What happened to those days where the simplest things made us laugh?
What happened to the toys we played with, like that little brown calf?
I'll tell you what, we threw them away,
We didn't care, said we'd never need them anyway.
Now lets' go back to those times, lets' fill that old void,
'Cuz childhood is most important, make sure it's never destroyed.
