My Grandfather’s tie
My grandfather has always worn a tie. During a lot of different times in his life, and during all of the different decades he’s been through, my grandfather has worn a tie. My grandfather has always had an excuse to wear a tie, it didn’t mattered if he was a baby, a child, a teenager, or even the man he is today, he has always loved wearing them. Whenever I look a picture of my grandfather he is always really elegant and never missing his tie. I have been through a lot of moments with him, like family vacations, weddings, Christmas celebrations, and even tragedies, and my grandfather has had a tie every time. I actually have never asked him, but sometimes I really think that he collects all different kinds of ties, and he should really have a big collection of them. My grandfather sometimes does not have a reason to wear a tie with his suit, but I like to think that he wears them because he simply likes the way he looks with them. It actually doesn’t matter which tie color he decides to use, red, black, green or white, he will always look right. The weather is never a problem for him, it doesn’t matter if it’s one of the hottest days of summer or a rainy day, he will always appear with his tie around his neck. Realistically, it is impossible to wear a tie every single day of your life, and obviously my grandfather does not actually wear a tie every single day but he really likes to be well dressed and wearing a tie always makes him look proper. Sometimes my grandfather lends his ties to my father and me because he likes us to dress more like him. Every once in a while he gives me a tie and tells me to return it once I used it for a while. My grandfather can be considered a true gentleman by lots of people, mainly because of the way he acts and behaves which are a true gentleman’s ways of living, but also by how he dresses because he really loves wearing his tie almost all the time. My grandfather has taught me lots of things throughout my life, but one thing that he has taught me without even saying a word, is how you can always act and dress like a true gentlemen.
