the silly little games
I can no longer afford
to throw pieces
of myself away
I sit alone in the dark
with all the could have's
the should have's
or the could of been
trying to analyze
the reasons why
my fault
their fault
or no ones fault at all
I still find myself alone
am I destiny's child
with a disposable life
destined to die alone
is it they can't deal
with the truth
of this is who I am
or is it I can't deal
with them
I refused to get down
on my knees
begging for their love
an I don't want them
begging for mine
I can only love you
if it means something
till then
I refuse to play
