Stop and Listen
As I watch the trees sway,
I cannot help but to thank GOD for another day.
As I watch the beautiful sunset,
I am reminded that I am not done living yet.
As I listen to the waves crashing upon the sand,
I cannot help but to remember when I last held your hand.
As I lay and look up at the stars,
I can see you even though you are so far.
As I listen to the wind blow,
I can hear your sweet hello.
It’s amazing what you feel when you just stop and open you heart,
Regardless how far you are you are never that far apart.
A memory is just what you make of it,
A good memory is the best I must admit.
Make the most of what you have with someone,
For your life has just begun.
Regardless where we all go,
If we stop and listen to nature you will then know.
It’s ok to listen or to watch the trees sway,
For tomorrow always begins a new day.
