The Words



A simple conversation started out with a hi

It ended in I love you and the words good bye

You told me that you loved me and I didn’t know what to say

Then I pissed you off and pushed you away



I don’t know how to take it back if I can please tell me how

I love you Bret and I know you know that but what to do right now

We both want to know where we stand

This all started by you taking my hand

If you don’t want to  let me know if you love me don’t be shy please just let it show

The three simple words you said they all just keep running through my head

You said you wouldn’t fall in love what happened then

Now  all I want is to hear you say it  again

I wish you knew what I felt for you but those words will remain unsaid

Because I don’t know how you will react, what would run through your head

Babe I love you please don’t let go

Don’t give up this fight just hold me close

I wont go on now that your leaving I will wait to see and keep believing

How do I tell you in words how I feel How can we make our dreams become real

If you don’t want to just let me know ill turn and walk away

Just tell me “how far” do you want me to go do you  want me to stay

I hope that you get what this poem means

I care about you, as it seems





Don’t push me away or throw me out I love you and I hope you wont doubt

My feelings for you will never change I will change my life ill rearrange

Just for you I would do everything please tell me what those words will bring

I don’t want to keep guessing, as you want me to do
