A small shrill voice asked me
“Mama, will you go to work today?”
Sadly, I said, “Yes, I have to, Baby”
He smiled and kissed me sweetly
‘Yehey, that’s good coz I will be free.”

It’s cousin KC’s birthday
And everyone is very busy
Ken is busy playing around
I told him to get dressed and be ready
Because Mr Clown is soon to come
He said, “But, I’m not waiting for Mr. Clown
All I want is ice cream and have fun.

One day, in nursery school
He became restless and playful
So teacher said “please be seated”
To which he gamefully answered
“You too, teacher, please take a seat.”

Lttle tyke, that’s what he is
But got a big heart for everybody else
For one day when classmate feels hungry
He gave his biscuits and juice away
And remind mama to have extra food the next day.

“Why can’t I have my bike?”
When every little boys have
I told him, you are too young
Beside, mama doesn’t have a dime
And he said “What a pity.
“You are working the whole day.
But now you said “You have no money”
So here’s my piggy.
Let us buy one for me and for Ate.”

Once, when Mama was sick
I told him to be quiet and behave
I saw him kneel down and pray
“Dear Jesus, please don’t take my mama away’
Standing by my side, he asked tearfully
“Mama, aren’t you dead already?”
