The horror unfolds
In front of our eyes
The hate
The blood
The death
Slowly increased
Now it’s all out war
Who knows why
Or when it will be done
Our people suffer
And die
In our homeland
How do we expect
To fix theirs
When our own
Is in shambles
You would think
Our people would come first
And they attempt
To make it look that way
Yet some see through it
See it for what it really is
An attempt
To once again
Prove we are best
Prove we are first
Prove we care
When in reality
All we are doing
Is inflating
Our already out of control ego
