THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER
Thirty pieces of silver, was the price paid that night.
one kiss on the cheek,took our Savior's life.
oh how his heart broke, as the tears dim his sight.
when he saw Judas coming toward him that night.
He knew what was to happen,but he was willing to give.
his life there on Calvary,so others might live.
they tried and judge him,and took him away.
but our sins were forgiven,on Calvary that day.
They laughed and mocked him and shamed him before men.
but God and his mercy, forgive them again.
He cried with a sad voice for me and for you.
oh Father forgive them,they know not what they do.
With the nails through his hands,and the spear in his side.
a crown of thornes on his head,on the cross Jesus died.
Let it not be in vain,please listen my friends.
don't crucify Jesus all over again.
Turn away from all sin,please hear what i say.
please answer his calling,get saved today.
these wise words of wisdom,I hope that you hear.
The time grows short,and the end draws near.
