I'll Tell Jesus

Folder:
Religion

There’s no happiness around you

Just sorrow and tears.

You wake up in the morning

Trying to hide your fears.

You keep fighting a losing battle

Your health is slowly diminishing

Your eyes are like rain puddles

Revealing all the painful sin.

I’ll tell Jesus about you

When I kneel down to pray.

Friend, I’ll tell Jesus about you

Each and every day.

You’re never alone

If you acknowledge the one

You’ll make it home

Stepping aboard the old ship of Zion.

I don’t want to go home

And know I’ll never see you again

I don’t want to leave you behind

Leave you burning in sin.

I’ll tell Jesus about you

When I kneel down to pray

Dad, I’ll tell Jesus about you

Each and every day.

You’ll have a mansion above

A street of just pure gold

You’ll sing the songs of glory

Knowing that you’ll be going home.

Become  a willing vessel

And fight the weakened flesh

Don’t drift away from Calvary

Accept the blood and you will be blessed.

I’ll tell Jesus about you

When I kneel down to pray

Mom, I’ll tell Jesus about you

Each and everyday.
