You know what’s weird
I like putting my ear phones on even when there’s no music
Just pretending to be in my own world but having them, not know that my own little world is them
They appear chattier
They smile when they think I can’t see
They laugh and make jokes and make me smile
They even mock me when I pretend to sing
Hear the sounds they make
Love the gossip when they think you can’t hear
It’s weird…
But sometimes I think its best I do turn up the music
Cause there are some things you just can’t handle…
