Remember our Home

Where we played for hours and cried when it was home time
Where we got our first puppy and one day had to let her go
Where we had fun in the rain and danced in the sun
Where we climbed trees and made swings
Where we raised our piglets and baby chicks
Where we didn’t have a care in the world and ran wild
Where fought and you’d always win
Where you always got me into trouble and soon bail me out
Where life was simple and dreams were without a doubt merry
Where you cuddled me when nights were scary

Now our time has pass and are all grown up; a lot has changed and we’re no longer young
What we had has come and gone; but what remains is our undying bond...
