in the long silent thrumsl
of hollow silences, lingering
away from this fractured world
in total reckless abandon
to abide, in rawboned honesty
humbly surrendered to His sovereignty.
Morning by morning
where on bended knee,
He fills anew Spirit touching spirit
we hear Him serenading our soul
as He writes our story into song
in seasons where
it’s so very hard to find the words.
