breaking the deceit
how cruel some lovers can be
so I freed myself
healed from shame and
life between heaven and hell
now I’m living free
so I am replacing him
I made a move to improve
he was unfaithful
finally I woke to see
I didn’t need him
now I possess love
empowered to move ahead
I can finally smile
while he is left with sorrow
breaking those cruel chains.
