As the morning awakes

It’s a new day

A new start

I get ready

For my big day

Just like everyday

Wondering is this the day

The day I get that girl of my dreams

Is this the day

My life becomes whole

Is this the day

I start loving again

Is this the day

My pain and suffering leaves

I walk in

Their you stand

I look in your eyes

See peace

See beauty

See comfort

You talk to me like

We known each other forever

You treat me as if

I am important to you

But as the day closes out

I see it’s not my day

But in my mind

I say

Tomorrow will BE!
