We kiss and hug

Not knowing it would be are last time



I get in the car and drive off

With you still on my mind

I go down the road happy as ever

Though my mind runs

What we should do next

I get home

You still on my mind

Phone rings.....

And it’s you

I hear you say my name

Not knowing it would be are last time



As I was once was happy

Now am sad

Now knowing it would be are last time



You tell me we will get by

Find some way

Find some how

NOW knowing it would be are last time



We go though a couple weeks

Getting by

Getting there

With hard times being harder

And easy times never there

I get that call

That no man alive

Wants to hear

You say it’s only for awhile

But really its forever

As days pass

My heart grows weak

Crying

Over pain
