Fade away become one with the dust in the air

You can just close those eyes and drift away

For once in your life pretend you have no cares and just fade away



You don’t want to go back home if it means you’ll be alone

And you don’t want to be the only one that’s the same

When everything has changed

No you don’t want to be the only one who’s sane



As the clock ticks, you notice the tempus

And you start to question what is your life

Achievements through sacrifice and everything you thought was right

Seem so different now that everything has changed



Well the fact is for you my friend this doesn’t have to be the end

Take this time to close those eyes and think about those happier times

And soon you’ll come to realize maybe home isn’t so bad after all

Sometimes change is okay and maybe you’ll want to stay

Because maybe life isn’t so bad after all.
