CAROUSEL
in town squares, everywhere,
In amusement parks,
at carnivals,
in video arcades,
In parks, playgrounds,
in all these places, all these spaces,
they can be found.
In Chuck E. Cheeses, kids and adults, they do please,
In shopping malls, these places all.
So many places, not far from me, see, not far from you.
It's true.
Look at all the happy faces.
They are neat. They are a treat.
On the faces of the riders, look at the smiles.
They get on and they stay a while.
The children, and the parents, see the families.
The aunts, uncles, the grandpas, the grandmas, the cousins.
Around and around they go.
When will they get off, nobody knows.
How many times will they ride? One? Two? Three?
We'll have to see.
The young and old.
All the great stories to be told.
