                 PAINT ME A PICTURE

                  Of a beautiful day,

                  A sky of blue

               in the beautiful way that you do.

                    Yes, it's true.

                 Of a beautiful ocean,

                   or a river,

                    or a lake.

               No, it would not be a mistake.

                Maybe a dog.  Maybe a cat.

                 Nothing wrong with that.



                   Maybe a mountain,

                    maybe a tree.

                     or

                    maybe just one of you and me.



                 You could paint whatever you want to do.

                      I just hope you have fun.

                When, it's done, it will be beautiful.

       On a beautiful day, reflecting off it will be the sun.

When people see it, great, wonderful things they will say.  

            Something, I can view, when I am blue.

                        

                    They say

                a picture is worth a thousand words

              I think yours will be worth more.

        So pretty nobody will be able to ignore.
