I JUST WANT TO COME HOME

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

I'm really lost out here, my dear.

A ship in a storm sea tossed.

My dear, I have a lot of fear.

         I know the reason why.

It makes me want to cry.

I just want to come home.

       I'm tired of being alone.

I wish I could call you on the phone.

       A lot of fright tonight.

A long delayed, then cancelled flight.

I lost the fight.  I have no sight.

      A long night.

I just want to come home.

I hope you see, home with you's where I want to be.

A lot of time I roam.  With you, it's not fine.

You see it as a crime.

       This is the last time.

I just want to come home.

Home's where I want to stay.

I'm tired of the game.  I'm the only one who does play.

  I'm tired of going insane.

Freight train rolling over my brain.

I just want to come home.
