BUSINESS TRAVELER (WHERE AM I?)

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

        I open my eyes, wide.

I can't hide from this day coming on.

I can't hide from the dawn.

There is still a lot to do, before I can be gone.

Out the window, a cow says moo.

        Where am I?

I can't run from the sun.

It is bright, and it is light.

No, it is not a delight.

        Sometimes, lost in the maze.

Lost in the haze, I have a fright of never going home.

          Where am I?

It is not a welcome sight.

I wish that I could sleep some more.

The day interrupted a dream, where I was

        the leading score.

        Where am I?

I've been to so many places.

I've been lost without any traces.

I've been to so many spaces.

        I've seen so many faces.

          Oh, where am I?

          Yeah, where am I?
