SHE'S A GIRL IN A CONVERTIBLE

COUNTRY POEMS

           She's a girl in a convertible.

       OO, She's a girl in a convertible.

Driving south, through the sky, that way of high.

         Her dreams really alive.

         a red convertible.

Faster than a car in a chase in a race.

So fast, no police can catch her in their net.

So fast, nobody has caught her yet.

A speed record she may set.

           She's a girl in a convertible.

       OO, She's a girl in a convertible.

         She's totally unwound.

         Wind whippin her hair 'round.

Other drivers giving her a stare or two.

The side of the road, cows that say moo.

She has no idea of what next she will do.

She said goodbye to her mom and pop and hit the road.

       Corvertible top open.

       No more loafin.

       No more mopin.

          She's a girl in a convertible.

      OO, she's a girl in a convertible.
