MY MOM DRIVES A TRAIN

She drives it in the sun.  She says it's fun.

She drives it in the rain.  She says it's not a pain.

She drives it by the ocean and the sea.  She says it's pretty.

She drives it through cities and towns.  She says it's pretty.

She drives it through deserts and plains.  She says no day is ever the same.

She drives it through mountains and hills.  She says it gives her thrills.

She has been here and there.  She has been near and she has been far.

She drives her train in the snow.  She loves to go.

She drives her train under the sky blue.  She says it's what she loves to do.

She sends me postcards, she calls me on the phone.  I feel less alone.

She has been to many places.  She says a game she did win.

She's taking somebody next time with her see.  It's me.
