SUBWAY
A lot of joy, this boy could not hide!
My mom did say, she was going to
take me for a subway ride!
I listened as she did explain
all about subway trains.
Then, we did go!
We went beneath the street.
It was really neat!
We took the escalator.
My mom told me to hold on to her.
We went through a turnstile/
Really made me smile.
We put the money in the slot. I liked it; I liked it a lot!
There was a huge crowd.
It was loud!
We looked at a map.
Where were we, see, going to go?
I wanted to know!
We were underground.
I thought we would be lost and never found!
My mom said we would be ok.
We came out into the day.
We came into the light. All was right.
We reached our stop.
Mom said we needed to go.
I said no!
I did not want to go!
The ride was so fun; did not want it to be done.
