A COUNTRY BOY IN
THE CITY
I got lost.
I got found.
I looked
all around.
My town at home was so small.
I looked at it all.
The crowds were so loud.

I took a subway ride.
Excitement I did not hide.
We went above and below ground.
There were so many stops.
I just loved to hop on and off.

Buildings so tall.
I loved looking at them all.
100 floors or more.

There were so many more streets.
Really neat.
I saw a lot of
trucks and buses and cars.
They, going to places near and far.
