I need somebody to teach all my children.
I need somebody to teach them math science, social studies, and English.
I need somebody to teach them to read
and to tie their shoe.
I need somebody to teach them
that one and one is two,
why the sky is blue.
All the great people in histoy and what did they do.
How to spell through.
God made a teacher.
I need somebody to get to school before day.
I need somebody to teach all day,
stay after for meetings and more,
go home,
correct papers,
and the at the end of the day,
go back to school for
the meeting of the PTA.
God made a teacher.
Then, he/she needs to do it again the next day and the next and the next.
Also, with very little pay.
When, somebody looks in their eyes and asks why,
Why they are a teacher?
They need to say it is love.
